HBFF 2008 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Please read the following submission requirements carefully before you submit your entry.

  All entries must be submitted through Withoutabox (WAB). Click the link to start your submission or go directly to www.withoutabox.com.  

Submission Requirements

• Films must have been completed after September 1, 2006.
• Films (preview tapes) must be submitted on NTSC DVD or VHS ½ tape.
• Preview tapes/DVDs should be labeled with title of film, run time, your withoutabox tracking number and the filmmaker/submitter's contact information. (name, email, phone number)
• A publicity still should be uploaded directly to withoutabox with your submission.
• Non-English language films must have English subtitles.
• Please include a self-addressed stamped postcard with your submission if you would like written confirmation that your submission has been received.

Deadlines

• Early Bird Deadline: January 15, 2008
• Final Deadline: February 15, 2008
• WAB Final Extended Deadline: February 22, 2008

Fees

• Early Bird: $45 (should be $50)
• Final Deadline: $55 (should be $60)
• Final Extended Deadline: $60 (should be $65)
• All fees are non-refundable.
• Submissions will not be reviewed without entry fee payment.

Filmmakers will be notified on or about March 31, 2008.
